Damn it seems like time's flying. It's been a while since the last discertation, it's already wednesday - 06/07/06. Atleast the world didn't end on 06/06/06. I was wondering what was going to happen, was I going to feel weird, but it was just another day another dolla...for real. Will somebody in the conggreation please put a hand in the air if you hate dealing with x-girlfriend/boyfriends. From the letting go to the drama, to the jealousy...ba ba boooo. All that nonsense is for the birds for real. But its real though, growth and strength & all that good stuff - so they tell me. Randomly again, my sister's going to Nationals for Track! Cold steaming ya fools who try to test the spead of da Sangster! Ha. Good luck sis, God spead.
It seems as if Karma is a bitch I am stil learning to love & understand. Certain oppurtunities present themselves in your life and if your not prepared to deal with them you lose out. So you have to stay prepared, because when your are you have a lot easier time dealing with those "fateful" moments. You know those moments when it seems like all is falling in place & there is nothing that can stop you. "I don't believe in luck, I like to think I stay ready" - Jay Hova. I hate to even quote Jay-Z but he's so real. I must be honest I am still learning that path. In the dojo on the do-lo honing the skills.
Sneakers, T-shirts, Jeans, Clothes, Cool shit, Toys, Hats, Hoodies, Jackets - this shit runs my life. That's why I try to stay focused on the people, the movements behind these materials. Le messie from LMAC, recently started a brand by the name of False, which I thought was very intersting as well. It seems we invest so much time into these products, into the scene, into being fre$h that it just becomes a reggurtitation of "stuff". Jeff Staple recently spoke about "cleansing" by selling a lot of his old shoes. I think stuff like that is good, where you just let go & start over. I recently lost a cell phone & was forced to start over. It's good not to be attached to these "things". Be adaptble, be fluid, let it happen, let it flow...
So with all that being said be prepared young Jedi. Don't stray away from your focus. Always remember that initial spark of inspiration when trying to bring visions to the fold. It's that spark that feeds the fire, that get's you through all the bullshit. Getting prepared can be tedious. But life aint nothing but a game play it as such. Practice to play, and play to practice. Jordan love that.
Listen to Outkast, listen to Old Soul (or Pete Rock -yeah that's him Djing.). Read books, get God in your life, if you don't need it talk to Buddha if your not trying to hear Buddha holla @ Mohammed, if you don't like any of em talk to your mother she's the closest thing you know to such a being. Sorry for all the sappy inspiration bullshit, thats just where i'm @. Shouts to all the dreamers. Ups to those living the dream.
